The American University in Vietnam - AUV offers different majors ranging from medicine, business administration, communication, engineering (including aircraft maintenance engineering) to computer science. AUV’s curriculum has been designed and reviewed carefully by experts and professors from prestigious U.S universities. In order to provide an international standard education in Vietnam for all students, the AUV management team has signed a comprehensive agreement with one of the leading universities in the US: Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). VCU is one of the top 100 universities in the US, with majors in medicine and pre-pharmacy. As a result of this new cooperation agreement, AUV students can study these two majors and others based on VCU’s curriculum at AUV before transferring without interruption.

Moreover, communication media, advertising, journalism and public relations are also within the framework of the comprehensive agreement. This will help AUV's students to benefit from receiving the highest quality of education right here in Vietnam before transferring to VCU.
