The enrollment period for the 2025 Fall Semester has already begun. AUV is currently accepting applications from students all over the country.

•    The enrollment period is from February 01, 2025 to August 15, 2025.
•    Students who apply early will have the opportunity to receive high scholarships and an excellent academic program at AUV. This includes credit transfer programs to prestigious universities in the United States and around the world.
•    AUV accepts only a limited number of students each year. Selected students will receive the resources and support they need to ensure future success.
•    Successful students can enroll in Fall 2025 (early September) or choose to enroll in Spring 2026 (January).

Applying to AUV
1.    Admission requirements at AUV:

• Are Vietnamese or international students currently in their final year of high school (Grade 12 or equivalent) and will graduate before the enrollment date at AUV;
• Individuals who have already obtained a high school diploma (or equivalent) are eligible to apply for the Bachelor's Degree Program 2025 at The American University in Vietnam (AUV).
• Current university students who wish to complete their undergraduate studies at AUV.
• AUV does not require applicants to have an English language proficiency certificate at the time of application. For those who do not possess an English certificate, AUV has a department that conducts English proficiency tests and assessments for students.
• Students who do not yet meet the English language requirements may enroll in the Preparatory Program (English language program at AUV) before commencing their formal degree studies.

2.    Application Process
In each admissions cycle, applicants will go through two rounds: 
•    Application round: Candidates prepare documents and send them to AUV University Admissions Office
•    Round of entrance test and Personal Interview: Once applicants have completed the application round, they will be notified and scheduled for the English entrance test and personal interview. (Candidates with a minimum score of Duolingo English Test 95, IELTS 6.5, or TOEFL iBT 75 do not need to take the English entrance test.)

3.    Prepare application documents:
The application dossier includes the following main sections:

• Application Form (including personal information)
• High School Transcript up to the present (or grade reports from Grade 9 to the present)
• College/University Transcript (for transfer students applying to AUV)
• Letter of Recommendation
• IELTS/TOEFL English Language Proficiency Certificate (if any)
• Other Certificates/Recognitions (SAT, ACT, etc.) (if any)

4.    Application form (students can apply one of the following ways)
•    Complete the application through the AUV website: Complete the application at https://auv.edu.vn/admission/#how-to-apply
•    Submit application by email: Fill in all information, scan all documents, and send via email to admission@auv.edu.vn
•    Apply directly at the school: Students can register directly with the Admissions Department at AUV and submit the application form and necessary documents in person at the school.

5.    Admission results 
•    Admission results will be evaluated based on AUV's policies and procedures. If successful, students will receive an offer of admission and scholarship via email. Students will then respond to the offer via email to accept an invitation to study at AUV.
•    AUV will review the application and respond to the student within 10 days after receiving the application. If the student does not receive a response within 10 days, please call or email the AUV admissions office.

6.    The timelines in the enrollment periods for the 2025 school year are as follows:
•    Application round opens on February 01, 2025 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2025.
•    English test and personal interview rounds for qualified students (without English Certifications) will last 30 days after AUV receives all needed documents 
•    Application results will be sent to students after the interview round 10 days.

7.    Important Notes

• AUV's admissions process focuses on each individual applicant and will assess them based on AUV's policies, not solely on the student's GPA.
• Application documents must be truthful, clear, and free from any erasures or corrections.
• For applications submitted via the website or email, AUV requires candidates to provide photographs or scans of the original transcripts, certificates, and other documents relevant to their application. Where necessary, AUV reserves the right to request applicants to present the original documents or submit notarized copies of the documents submitted online for verification.
