American Education Village

On September 15, 2022, at the Vietnam International Aviation Expo in Hanoi, Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh, Chairwoman of APU Educational Development Group and the American University in Vietnam (AUV) had a productive meeting with Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, a member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and representatives of Boeing Corporation, the world's largest aircraft manufacturer.

During the meeting, they discussed the American Education Village project, expected to be implemented soon in the Southern Key Economic Zone on the border between Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province. The American Education Village will provide educational training from primary school through university. One of the highlight programs is Aviation. It will provide degrees such as Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Administration, and Civil Pilot Training in cooperation with prestigious universities such as the Florida Institute of Technology, Central Washington University, and Arizona State University. The project will also include programs in the Heath & Sciences, providing degrees in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing in tandem with Arizona State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and the University of Connecticut. The Heath & Sciences program will allow students to train on-site at American hospital in the American Education Village and will give them the experience and tools to become world-class doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and other health professionals. Cutting-edge training programs will be offered at all levels, from Bachelor’s Degrees to PhDs and MDs… This will help Vietnamese and international students access the high standards of an international learning environment right here in Vietnam, saving cost and time.

AUV and APU Educational Development Group have a long history of guiding generations of students to lead successful careers around the world in companies such as Boeing, Abbott, KPMG, Google, Tesla, Amazon, and others. AUV and APU Group will continue to cooperate with leading global universities and other key partners, creating the optimal conditions for Vietnamese students to enter the international workforce with confidence, enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt to and succeed in any country.
