AUV offers the opportunity to study in Vietnam while receiving an American university degree. American University in Vietnam - AUV welcomes all domestic and foreign students with high-value scholarship programs.

The enrollment period for the 2023 Fall Semester has already begun. AUV is currently accepting applications from students all over the country.

•    The enrollment period for 2023-2024 is from February 01, 2023 to August 15, 2023.
•    Students who apply early will have the opportunity to receive higher-value scholarships. 
•    AUV offers valuable scholarships as well as the opportunity to study in the United States for students with outstanding academic records.
•    AUV accepts only a limited number of students each year. Those lucky students will gain all the tools needed to ensure future success.
•    Successful students can enroll in Fall 2023 (early September) or choose to enroll in Spring 2024 (January).

THE POTENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP VALUE FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN 2023 FALL SEMESTER IS $6,000,000. LIMITED SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE.

Applying to AUV
1.    Admission requirements at AUV:
•    Who is eligible to apply? Individuals (Vietnamese citizens or foreigners) who are currently in their senior year of high school (Grade 12) and will graduate before their intended enrolment date at AUV OR individuals who hold a high-school diploma or equivalent.
•    AUV does not require students to have an English certificate when applying. For those who do not have an English certificate, AUV has a department to test and assess English language ability.
•    Students who do not meet English proficiency requirements will take classes in AUV’s American Language Program (ALP) before starting their official program of study.

2.    Application Process
In each admissions cycle, applicants will go through two rounds: 
•    Application round: Candidates prepare documents and send them to AUV University Admissions Office
•    Round of entrance test and Personal Interview: Once applicants have completed the application round, they will be notified and scheduled for the English entrance test and personal interview. Candidates with a minimum score of Duolingo English Test 95, IELTS 6.5, or TOEFL iBT 75 do not need to take the English entrance test.

3.    Prepare application documents:
Individuals need to prepare:
•    AUV Admissions Form (include personal information)
•    High school transcripts
•    College/university transcripts (if any)
•    Letters of Recommendation (if any)
•    English language qualifications (IELTS/TOELF) (if any)
•    Other certificates (SAT, ACT.etc) (if any)

 
4.    Application form (students can apply one of the following ways)
•    Complete the application through the AUV website: Complete the application at https://auv.edu.vn/admission
•    Submit application by email: Fill in all information, scan all documents, and send via email to admissions@auv.edu.vn
•    Apply directly at the school: Students can register directly with the Admissions Department at AUV and submit the application form and necessary documents in person at the school.

5.    Admission results 
•    Admission results will be evaluated based on AUV's policies and procedures. If successful, students will receive an offer of admission and scholarship via email. Students will then respond to the offer via email to accept an invitation to study at AUV.
•    AUV will review the application and respond to the student within 10 days after receiving the application. If the student does not receive a response within 10 days, please call or email the AUV admissions office.

6.    The timelines in the enrollment periods for the 2022-2026 school year are as follows:
•    Application round opens on February 01, 2023 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2023.
•    English test and personal interview rounds for qualified students (without English Certifications) will last 30 days after AUV receives all needed documents 
•    Application results will be sent to students after the interview round 10 days.

7.    Important Notes
•    AUV's admissions process focuses on the unique qualities of each individual. Students will be evaluated based on AUV's policy.
•    We do not evaluate students based on a formula.
•    Profile must be honest and clear, reflecting the student’s actual circumstances.
•    AUV requires candidates to provide photos or scans of original transcripts, certificates, and documents related to the candidate's enrollment profile. In limited cases, AUV reserves the right to require applicants to present original and/or notarized copies of documents.
