CEREMONY OF SIGNING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY IN VIETNAM (AUV) AND TECOTEC GROUP: A NEW STEP IN TRAINING SEMICONDUCTOR ENGINEERS.

On December 2nd, 2024, in a significant event, The American University in Vietnam (AUV) and Tecotec Group officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a crucial milestone in their collaboration to train and develop high-quality human resources in the semiconductor chip industry – a technology sector considered the key to Vietnam's economic leap in the digital age.

The event was attended by high-ranking leaders from both sides. Representing Tecotec Group, Mr. Pham Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Group, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the cooperative relationship between businesses and universities. Mr. Phuc shared, "Collaborating with AUV is part of our long-term strategy to develop high-quality semiconductor engineers, meeting the urgent demand of the high-tech industry both domestically and internationally."

On behalf of AUV, Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh, Founder and Chairwoman of APU Education Development Group, expressed optimism and high expectations for this cooperation. Dr. Thy Binh affirmed, "Today's event not only marks a strategic partnership but also opens up great opportunities for AUV students to access practical experience, research, and career development in the semiconductor field – one of the driving forces of 21st-century innovation."

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, Tecotec Group will play a role in strategic consulting, supporting the development of in-depth training programs, and providing internship opportunities and participation in practical projects. Meanwhile, AUV commits to providing a modern academic environment, encouraging students to research and innovate to be ready to join the global semiconductor industry.

The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of business leaders, industry experts, and a large number of outstanding lecturers and students. This is the foundation for great strides in building a generation of high-tech engineers, contributing to elevating Vietnam's position in the global supply chain.
