On May 24, 2024, Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh, Chair of AUV Board of Trustees, along with Dr. T. Dwayne MccCay, President of AUV, Dr. John Behzad, Vice President, and other faculty members met with delegations from the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) led by Mr. Le Hoang Minh, Chairman of the Board of Members.  Also attending the meeting were members of the VATM Board of Members, Air Traffic Controllers of the Ministry of Transport - Transport, Deputy General Director, Director of the Training Center, Leaders of the Organization, Planning, Finance, Technical, Office Departments and VATM Branch Directors in Central Vietnam.

This significant meeting marks a new milestone in collaborative efforts to cultivate high-caliber human resources for Vietnam's aviation industry. Both parties have committed to comprehensive cooperation across all domains to address the ever-growing needs of the aviation sector during its robust growth phase. During the meeting, AUV presented detailed information on its training programs, highlighting its strengths and extensive experience in various fields. These include training highly skilled aviation technicians in Vietnam at all levels (BA, BS, Master's), specialized English training, and related programs.

On behalf of the VATM delegation, Mr. Le Hoang Minh expressed their deep gratitude for the warm welcome and facilitation for the delegation to visit and learn about the school's facilities and equipment as well as its strengths, and expressed their confidence in AUV's capacity and reputation.

The two parties agreed to continue exchanging and discussing to concretize cooperation content. It is hoped that with the close cooperation between AUV and VATM, it will contribute to providing more high-quality human resources for the Vietnamese aviation industry
